@CNN Please get off of the dime that it is only 800,000 federal employees affected by the shutdown and will not get paid on Friday. Federal Contract Employees as well as small businesses that support ALL of these employees in some manner r also affected and will not get paid!!!!

@CNN Stephen Moore is incorrect. Furloughed federal employees may only receive back pay IF congress inserts a provision for this into the funding bill. And federal contract employees historically DO NOT receive back pay since congress has not insert this provision into past bills
