@TSLAFanMtl Since the Fed EV Tax credit point-of-sale incentive has not kicked in yet, my guess is that inventory discounts are still needed and the Model 3/Y pricing differences (ie. M3P cheaper than M3LR) has not happened yet.

@SawyerMerritt Perhaps the reason Tesla asked me to update my reconfiguration was for me to acknowledge and accept the new epa estimated range.

My fear was that I would have wait even longer again (February-March). As you can see in my email, I originally ordered my Model X in October.

@SawyerMerritt I got this same email tonight! I went ahead and updated my configuration. I looked at all the details in my updated order and my configuration is exactly the same. So I am not sure what the point was.

@parastheone @SawyerMerritt After updating the configuration of my Model X tonight, it’s still exactly the same configuration. I believe you may be correct that it’s an acceptance of the new range.

@hansomwubin @SawyerMerritt I initially had a problem updating the configuration but about an hour later, I was able to. After updating my configurations, I see that all the features are still exactly the same.
