A guy bought a Meta Quest 3 a year ago.
He puts it on. He plays Beat Saber. He plays Superhot VR. He takes it off. He charges it. He does the same thing next weekend. He’s played the same 3 games for 12 months. He considers the Quest 3 “a VR gaming headset.”
His coworker a VR developer who’s been building mixed reality apps for 4 years watched him put the headset on, load Beat Saber, and play in a tiny 3-foot circle and said something that made him pause the game.
“Your headset can see the entire room around you in full color and overlay virtual objects on top of it and you’ve never left the virtual environment. It can track your hands without controllers and you’ve never taken the controllers off. It can cast the game to your TV so everyone in the room watches what you see and you’ve been playing alone while your family stares at you swinging at invisible blocks. It tracks calories burned and active minutes like a Fitbit and you’ve never opened the fitness app. It can display 3 virtual monitors on your wall for productivity work and you’ve used it exclusively for gaming. It has voice commands that launch apps, take screenshots, and adjust settings without touching anything and you’ve been navigating menus with a joystick. You spent $500 on the most capable mixed reality headset ever made for consumers and you’ve used it as a $500 Beat Saber machine.”
He showed him 11 Meta Quest 3 features that transform the headset from “a thing I play games on” into a mixed reality platform, a fitness tracker, a virtual workspace, and a social experience most owners have never configured.
Here’s every hidden Quest 3 feature most owners never discover 🧵
@Oliviacoder1 This is a fantastic reminder about the value of credit card benefits. It's so important to understand all the perks that come with our cards. Thanks for sharing this insight.
A guy's rental car got a dent in a parking lot in Miami. The rental counter said: "That'll be $1,800 for the damage."
He called Chase. Filed a claim. Chase paid the full $1,800. He paid $0.
He didn't buy rental car insurance at the counter. He didn't file with his personal auto insurance. He didn't pay a deductible. His Chase Sapphire card included PRIMARY rental car coverage — up to $75,000 — as a built-in benefit he'd never read about in the card agreement.
His wife — a former Chase relationship manager — told him:
"You've had that card for 4 years. In those 4 years — you've had $3,000–$5,000 in hidden protections sitting on that card that you never once used. Primary rental car insurance. Trip cancellation coverage up to $10,000. Trip delay reimbursement. Purchase protection on everything you buy. Cell phone protection. Baggage delay insurance. And a points system worth 2–4x more than cash back — if you use it correctly."
"Chase doesn't market these benefits. They're buried in a 47-page benefits guide nobody reads. The customer earns points. Ignores everything else. And pays for rental car insurance, travel insurance, and phone insurance separately — when their credit card already covers all three."
Here are 10 Chase credit card benefits most cardholders have never used:🧵
A woman's credit score was 622. She didn't miss payments. She didn't have collections. She didn't have a bankruptcy. Her score was 622 because of things she didn't know not things she did wrong.
Her credit utilization was 67% because she used $3,350 of her $5,000 total credit limit. She didn't know utilization was 30% of her score. She didn't know the target was under 10%.
She paid her credit card on the due date not the statement closing date. Her bank reported the balance before her payment posted. So the bureau saw the high balance. Every month.
She had 3 credit cards. She closed the oldest one last year because she "didn't use it anymore." Her average account age dropped from 9 years to 3 years. She lost 15% of her score because she closed a card she thought was useless.
A former credit analyst told her:
"Your credit score is not a measure of your financial responsibility. It's a measure of how well you play a game with rules nobody taught you."
"622 to 780. Same income. Same debts. Same person. Different understanding of 5 rules the credit industry never explains."
Here are 10 credit score tricks most people will never be told:🧵

Generating one AI video is exciting. But creating multiple versions of the same marketing idea can mean a lot of repetitive editing.
I wanted to find a smoother way to revise a Jean Phil-inspired character campaign.

Imagine a Jean Phil-inspired character introducing a product, followed by a catchy voiceover and music that builds toward the final reveal. Even the most eye-catching visuals need sound that supports the story rather than competes with it.
In CapCut PC, you can arrange your footage, voiceover, and background music across separate timeline tracks. Fine-tune when the narration starts, balance the audio levels, and synchronize sound with the character's movements and key visual moments.
AI-generated footage gives you the raw material, while multitrack editing helps bring the entire experience together. The result is a more complete promotional video, with visuals and sound working toward the same message.

A woman orders DoorDash about 4 times a week.
She's not extravagant about it. She orders a burrito bowl, a salad, a sandwich. Nothing fancy.
"I only get cheap stuff," she says. "It's like $15 a meal."
But last month, her roommate, who's an accountant and can't help counting things, was sitting next to her on the couch while she placed an order. The roommate glanced at the screen.
"What's your total?"
"$38."
"For what?"
"A burrito bowl and a drink."
"The burrito bowl is $15."
"Yeah, and then there's the fees and stuff."
The roommate didn't say anything. She pulled out her own phone, opened a calculator, and said:
"Can I see your order history?"
They went through her last 30 days together. 17 orders. Every one of them had a food price that looked reasonable. Every one of them also had a delivery fee, a service fee, sometimes a small order fee, taxes, and a tip.
The food she'd ordered added up to about $290.
The total she'd paid was about $520.
She stared at the number.
"That's $230 in extras. For one month."
"And you thought it was cheap," her roommate said.
"I thought the burrito bowl was cheap. I never looked at the rest."
The roommate wasn't telling her to stop ordering. She was telling her to stop ordering blindly.
"You're using the app the way the app wants you to use it. Delivery every time. No plan. No membership math. No pickup. No promos. You pay the default price for convenience, 17 times a month."
She spent 20 minutes on that couch showing her friend how she orders.
The next month, the woman ordered nearly as often. Her bill was about $170 lower.
"Same food," she said. "Same restaurants. Different system."
Here's every move her roommate showed her, in the exact order 🧵
@ai_univarse This is a fascinating observation about user behavior and how we adapt to new technology. It highlights the importance of truly exploring a device's capabilities beyond initial habits.
A guy paid $1,999 for an iPhone.
He opened the box. He felt like he held the future.
Then he used it exactly like his old phone for 2 whole weeks.
Same apps. Same layout. Same habits. He never even propped it up on a table.
Then his friend came over. She had been using foldable phones for 5 years, and she took one look at the screen and laughed.
“You bought the biggest screen Apple has ever made. And you’re using it like a small phone. You hold it in your hand to watch videos. You hold it in your hand for FaceTime. You hold it up to take group photos. Your home screen is set up for a phone that doesn’t fold.”
He said, “Isn’t that just how a phone works?”
She said, “Not this one.”
Then she took it from his hand and spent one evening changing 11 things. None of them cost a cent. By the end, he said it felt like he had bought a different device.
Here’s every setting she changed:🧵
