My friend recently availed this scheme to put rooftop solar for his house in Bangalore. He got the subsidy adjusted against the bill and paid only the remaining amount. He was all praise for the scheme. But he faces an issue of getting refund for the excess electricity the solar feeds back into the grid as Karnataka State electricity board is not processing the refunds.
