@HMRCcustomers The tax code is the same on payslips for each store which is 246T, although I hadn’t earned over 12000 it was only letting me earn 2460 before tax
@HMRCcustomers Advised that I need a p45 for my store in England as I no longer work in the store and I’m now on a 900p and can earn 700 a month before getting taxed and for a tax return it’s relied on Sainsburys to make up the sum of my tax loses over the last few months
@HMRCcustomers And the woman on the phone said there is nothing they can do about it and it’s up to Sainsburys to sort pieces of my tax return since my tax code has changed? This doesn’t sound right could you confirm if this is how it should work?
@HMRCcustomers Hi I’ve just called hmrc and spoke about my situation that I work in Sainsburys but as I’m a student in England I transfer between 2 stores from Ireland and Liverpool for when I’m home and when I’m at university, I’m getting taxed 20% as it’s down as 2 different jobs
@HMRCcustomers Yes Sainsburys is my only employer but as I’m a student in Liverpool I would switch shops from Northern Ireland to Liverpool and HMRC have it down as 2 separate jobs
One of the lads has been sending his scrans into the group chat for the last few weeks and they’ve reached a point where they’re too good not to share
(I can promise you all of these were eaten and none of them are a piss take)
