This was a historic victory.
Honoured to have @douglasdowney’s trust in leading the communications strategy for his decisive re-election campaign in #Barrie—#Springwater—#OroMedonte.
So proud to be a part of #TeamDowney—now let’s get back to work! 🙌🏻
Shovels are now in the ground for the new Grimsby GO Station, with service expected to begin next summer!
I had the chance to stop by to see some of the early work underway and hear about how this new station will support jobs, tourism and local residents across Niagara.
Ontario never sat on the sidelines while advocating for meaningful Criminal Code & bail reform.
Years before Bill C-14, we expanded justice system capacity, modernized courtrooms, & transformed our courts through technology. We delivered the tools—now we have the rules to match.
Five years ahead of schedule, we started construction on the roads to the Ring of Fire.
A project that has been talked about for 40 years, is finally getting done under @fordnation — unlocking 70,000 jobs in one of the world's richest mineral deposits.
A solid week of partnership and progress.

It’s been an incredibly busy week delivering on our mandate to protect Ontario. This week alone, we:
· Signed an agreement to strengthen trade and cooperation between Ontario and South Carolina
· Announced the first-ever First Nations equity partnership in a Canadian nuclear project as we continue building the first small modular reactor in the G7
· Awarded $1.5 billion through our Development Charge Reduction Program to the City of Toronto as we reduce the cost of many new homes by $200,000 or more
· Announced that we’re raising speed limits to 110 km/hr on close to 90 per cent of Ontario’s highways by the end of September
· Broke ground on a new all-season road to the Ring of Fire as we deliver the road network five years ahead of schedule
For years, #Ontario has led the call for meaningful Criminal Code & bail reform.
Today, I joined @SeanFraserMP in #Brampton and marked the passage of Bill C-14, an important step forward in delivering long-awaited reforms to better protect communities & strengthen public safety.
Ontario is ready for a summer unlike any other.⚽️
Starting today until July 19, our government is helping fans & visitors from around the 🌎 make the most of FIFA World Cup 2026 by allowing licensed bars & restaurants to serve & sell alcohol until 4 a.m.
Let’s go #TeamCanada!🇨🇦
A more modern, accessible, and efficient civil justice system matters.
Today, Attorney General @douglasdowney released a joint statement on the Civil Rules Review and next steps to streamline processes, reduce delays and costs, and strengthen access to justice across #Ontario.
Ontario is taking action to modernize and strengthen our civil justice system.
Please read my joint statement outlining next steps in the Civil Rules Review to help reduce delays, simplify court processes, and improve access to justice.

Access to justice is fundamental to a fair and strong society.
Great to attend the Action Committee on Access to Justice Conference reception at the @SCC_eng in #Ottawa.
Ontario is allowing licensed restaurants and bars across the province to extend the sale and service of alcohol until 4 a.m. during FIFA World Cup 2026™.
The temporary extension will apply from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

Stronger action is needed to #ProtectOntario communities.
That’s why our government is advancing new, tough-on-crime public safety measures.
At the same time—the federal government needs to pass Bill C-14 and deliver the long-overdue bail reform Canadians have been waiting for.
Serving on a jury is one of the most important civic duties a Canadian can perform.
On this #JuryDutyAppreciationWeek, we thank all jurors for their service and ongoing commitment to upholding a vital aspect of our democracy.
Keeping communities safe is paramount.
Great to join Deb Hutton on @NEWSTALK1010 to discuss why bail denials are increasing and the positive structural changes our government is implementing to strengthen community safety.
General Motors says it will spend $691 million on its St. Catharines Propulsion Plant to support production of its latest V-8 engines for full-sized trucks and sports utility vehicles.

Our plan to fix Canada’s broken bail system is helping keep more criminals behind bars, but Ontario can’t do it alone.
The federal government needs to pass its bail reform legislation now, so we can protect communities and keep people safe.

Taking money out of the hands of criminals, putting it back into communities.
Proud to join @Andrea_Khanjin to deliver $200K per organization to @BarriePolice & @JohnMuskoka—a $400K total investment through the Civil Remedies Grant Program.
Part of our plan to #ProtectOntario.
Last month, I had the honour of being invited to present before the Public Bill Committee of the UK Parliament regarding judge-alone trials.
Thank you for the opportunity to share Ontario’s experience & the role these proceedings can play in delivering timely, effective justice.
