Lance Corporal Brodie Gillon, aged 26 from Ayr, a reservist and Combat Medical Technician with the Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry, was killed in an insurgent rocket attack on Camp Taji, north of Baghdad, Iraq

@StuLittle1972 @sladestevens96 @DevonAirAmb @lrjhilton_lee Yeah its very varied nationally. Should definitely be a national standard. Some paramedics have red epaulettes in places where in some places that’s for Dr’s only. Can make things confusing at first if working with/across multiple trusts

An amazing learning experience. Gained so much knowledge in multiple areas. A great & knowledgeable team and the factually we’re top of their game. Different level of course. Many things to take forward. Even put them into practice on the way home from the course

@RymerAbbie Agreed. Looks like its just been thrown together with little context or advice on different situations and environments. A lot more needs to be put into non clinical SP training if we are going to recognise life extinct among the most obvious signs e.g decapitation
