The program has had some great coaches - Fran McCaffery actually didn’t do too well, before doing a much better job at Siena.

But Wes Miller wound up finishing with five straight 20-win seasons and 2 NCAA Tournament bids.

The Spartans have been wildly consistent too - before last year they had 9 straight winning seasons. Jerod Haase comes into a good situation now hoping to make it better.

Xavier has signed LSU forward transfer Mike Nwoko, @chris_hummer and I have learned for @CBSSports.

The 6-10, 260-pounder posted averages of 13.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this past season. Began his career at Miami and Mississippi State before transferring to LSU.

The 6-10 redshirt junior was one of the Tigers’ top players before suffering back-to-back season-ending injuries. He averaged 10.3 points and 6.1 rebounds in the last two seasons and could end up being a steal for the Wolverines.
