Dad drove Ruby 🐩 and I to Big Park today. Normally we'd walk but it's a little too far now

We had a nice slow walk and we didn't even have our harness or leads on. I even told some big birds they had to leave the park immediately. And they did

We've just done our best walk in months! No anxiety, no wanting to head home, he just wanted to walk. We're both like that in the cold, it's our happy place 😊

Nothing but good news atm, steady improvements from Jack the last few weeks and Rubz's knee mostly holding up

They are both in good spirits, walking well and almost up to their old tricks 😊

We went back to the park again today. Dad was late to work because of it but said he didn't care because "some things are more important"

Baby steps. Today we drove to the park we used to walk to in 5 mins, but most importantly is when we got there I had two dogs that walked

Not fast, nor far and sometimes we sat or stood, but this was the best 'walk' of the last month. I was so happy and proud of them both

Meanwhile the all clear for Ruby after her accident a fortnight ago. Yeah I didn't tell you, my bubba girl got hit by a car. This last month or so hasn't been good for them
