Illinois taxpayers are about to get hit again.

The Illinois Tollway is proposing about 45¢ extra per toll starting January 2027. First passenger increase since 2012. Commercial vehicles get slammed with a 30% hike.

Pritzker already raised gas taxes with automatic annual increases built in, conveniently paused during election years. Now tolls get their turn too.

All to fund their $26.5B “Driving Connections” plan through 2042. More increases every two years after that.

Pritzker never met a tax hike he didn’t like.

But don’t worry, the budget is balanced.

Angel Father Joe Abraham, who lost his daughter Katie due to Pritzker and the Illinois Democrats dangerous policies protecting ILLEGAL ALIENS, and State Senator Chapin Rose called on the Illinois Democrat controlled legislature to pass SB4196 to amend the TRUST ACT

The TRUST ACT was passed in 2017 under Bruce Rainer’s administration and resulted in Illinois becoming a sanctuary state

Then in 2021 Illinois passed the WAY FORWARD ACT which limits sheriff’s’ involvement in civil immigration enforcement and provides for additional protection for ILLEGAL ALIENS and immigrant communities

The Democrats Super Majority in both the Illinois House and Senate consistently block any bills to amend or repeal the TRUST ACT never allowing such to reach the floor for a vote

Joe Abraham’s and Chapin Rose’s SB4196 is no exception. The bill has not been assigned to a committee meaning it is unlikely to move forward due to the Democrats super majority

The focus is on Pritzker for refusing to repeal the TRUST or WAY FORWARD ACTS but an equal amount of blame should be placed on the Illinois Democrat controlled legislature

If Pritzker isn’t defeated and the Blue dots turned to Red in the November general election, NOTHING CHANGES IN ILLINOIS
