Honestly, I think GMA's Amaya is one of the most memorable Filipino teleseryes ever made. Hindi lang dahil sa nostalgia. There's something special about this series that combines cultural identity, and a powerful story about a woman's fight against oppression. Sana gumawa pa sila ng mga gantong genre. We need more historical epics na nag e-explore ng precolonial filipino culture.
