3,000+ National Guard troops have been deployed to Minneapolis ahead of a verdict in Derek Chauvin's trial.

Protests around the trial have been largely peaceful, but concrete barriers and barbed wire fill downtown areas.

Minnesota is activating more National Guard after the police killing of #DaunteWright in Brooklyn Center.

There were 100 at the start of Derek Chauvin's trial.

Now 500 are activated, and the National Guard says it is fast-tracking plans for more troops at the end of the trial.
