@saragoldrickrab Finally, I'm not sure how long you've had him, but the adjustment period is excruciating. So also make sure you're giving him enough time to feel stable and safe and not overstimulating him.

@saragoldrickrab Of course, this is easier for us bc we don't have children to protect, and he's pretty small so can't do much damage. But we educate everyone who comes into our house or approaches him on a walk about how to interact with him (either just don't (!), or let him sniff you, etc.)
