Character consistency at its finest
→ Build the character sheet with Seedream 5.0 Pro
→ Animate any scene with Seedance 2.0
→ Same face, same character, every time. Even when the hero goes back to their day job
Both models available on Magnific, powered by @BytePlusGlobal
So @AlibabaGroup recently released Happy Oyster 1.0, which lets you interact with a film as it plays. Instead of just watching, you can type a prompt to change what happens next, and the story updates in real time.
We tested it, and seeing the story change instantly is pretty amazing. Just a few years ago, AI image generators looked worse than what this can generate in real time. The speed of progress is astounding.
The bigger question is: Would you actually want to watch a film like this? Or would you rather sit back and let a filmmaker tell the story?
Blender takes months to learn. This workflow takes one prompt
No modeling. Just text to cinematic 3D-style output
→ Test iterations with Seedance 2.0 Mini
→ Final cinematic results with Seedance 2.0 4K
Full prompt and process below
Magnific have launched their VFX Studio.
This is a Magnific Flow where you can create fun VFX shots to any image you provide.
Select the type of VFX, the camera movement and the key target.
The flow does the rest for you, here's how it looks:
The hardest part of generating high quality VFX is the setup
We built the Flow. Fire, smoke, explosions, and more

It's time to return to the Swamp.
This is Blackwaters. A Southern Gothic Tale I'm exploring.
Created with Seedance 4K inside Runway.
Period Pieces are now viable for indie filmmakers.
Here's the power of invideo Agent One.
Live action series created with an agent, your story and the help of AI image and video models.
Really recommend checking this out:
Gen-AI filmmaking is a hybrid process.
With invideo Agent One, you can bring in your own content anywhere with the invideo App.
Agent One understands your intent, analyzes your images and helps to bring it to life with a bunch of AI video tools.
Here's a tutorial:
Blender MCP w/ Codex 5.5 or OPUS 4.8 is seriously pretty cracked...
This entire block out was one-shot with a single prompt in about 15 minutes.
Only problem I am having now is getting Seedance to use it properly 😅
Please feel free to use it and post your results below 👇
Simple Blender animation → Seedance 2.0 → stylized AI video.
This workflow uses basic 3D motion as a guide, then applies the look and detail from a reference image.

Quick how-to for hybrid filmmaking - Combine e.g. footage with gen AI or 3D with gen AI. This is currently revolutionizing pre-visualization of movies and tv-shows. And in many cases it can be used in final productions also.
I recently worked on a test of adding crowds to footage. Here's a workflow and benchmark of Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3.0 Omni.
Full process and prompt below:
You need to start with footage. I picked a drone shot of some hills. We have 4k in Seedance and 1080 in Kling, so getting 4k footage as a minimum gives us the best possible quality.
The steps are then:
1) Grab frame 1 from footage and edit it using e.g. Nano Banana (Pro/2) or GPT2. I added an army or orgres and changed time of day.
2) Using both the footage and the edited first frame as references. Same prompt and process for Kling 3 and Seedance2. Prompt below:
The problems you often see if that the video generator won't capture the movement of the footage, so the prompt needs to reinforce the copying of the exact movement.
Prompt:
Use @orgres as the clean start frame. Preserve the ogre army, the rugged hilly landscape, lighting, color, film grain, and composition from the start frame.
Use @landscape as a motion reference for camera choreography and timing. Match the timing and path of the camera move as closely as possible, specifically the smooth upward drone ascent over the terrain.
The camera acts as a drone slowly rising above the landscape. The massive ogre army marches steadily forward through the rugged, rocky hills. Heavy dust kicks up from their massive footsteps, lingering in the air. As the camera gains altitude, foreground rocks, shrubs, and dirt pass by, creating a strong sense of depth and natural parallax against the distant mountain peaks.
The horde moves relentlessly along the winding dirt path. Tattered banners and crude weapons sway with their heavy, rhythmic strides. The vanguard, riding massive armored beasts, leads the charge at the front of the column. As the camera continues to ascend, the sheer scale of the army is revealed, stretching far back into the dusty valley.
The camera maintains its smooth, majestic upward trajectory throughout the shot, keeping the focus on the sprawling landscape and the marching horde below.
Do not make the camera movement erratic or violently fast. Do not make the army move at a sprint; keep their march heavy, grounded, and rhythmic. Do not lose the epic scale of the environment or the horde. No music.
It’s really hard to challenge Seedance 2 on FPV shots right now… it remains almost untouchable in this category 🔥
The fluidity, speed, immersion, and camera control are on a completely different level.
Hollywood better watch out.

Made in Runway
Seedance 2.0 1080p vs 4K. Same prompt. Same motion. Completely different feel.
This comparison was created with Seedance 2.0 4K on @toapisai
Price comparison:
Seedance 2.0: $0.32/sec
Seedance 2.0 4K: $0.71/sec
Seedance 2.0 4K adds another layer of polish, cleaner details, stronger texture retention, better image stability, and sharper frames during fast motion. The difference becomes obvious when you pause the video... and even more when you don't.
Wow. Seedance is really good at turning greyboxed 3d references into final quality pixels. Like really good.
Seedance 2.5 coming with 30 second generations and up to 50 (!) references is gonna be mad. Try the workflow Reid is running below.
The "real artists don't use AI" argument took a massive hit in the last 90 days:
→ A24 + Google [$75M]
→ Martin Scorsese is building an AI tool
→ Lionsgate + Runway [equity + access to IP]
→ Netflix bought Ben Affleck's AI startup [$600M]
And today, our first episode became Artlist TV's first AI original series on their new streaming platform. From idea to 19 min episode in a few weeks. Our approach, equip real artists with the AI tools to tell stores.
Thank your to our amazing partners @Artlist_io for giving real artists and creators the opportunity to tell stories and Simone Ferretti for making this happen! Crazy how this came together from pitch to idea to 19 min episode in a few weeks, dream team foreal

Logline: a near-future America where the justice system has transformed punishment into spectacle, condemned inmates are offered one alternative to execution: survive a series of fully immersive historical simulations inside a classified government program called The Arc. Isaac Ward - decorated veteran, drowning father, death row inmate - volunteers not to escape justice, but to buy back his son’s life: days inside history’s most brutal killing fields in exchange for a full pardon and chance to save his son dying from a disease a corporation decided wasn’t profitable to cure. Stripped of his name and redesignated only as FIVE, he fights through the chaos of the 1600’s Japan with one thought driving every swing - if he can just survive long enough, he gets to go home.

Character consistency was AI video's biggest wall.
Seedance 2.0's native 4K + Nano Banana Pro just cleared it. Shadows, skin tones, edge detail, all holding up even in motion.
Look at the reference sheets below, then watch the shot. Bezalel, Sabaka, the whole camp. Every face locked to its reference across one continuous take, zero drift.
The sheet even maps his run: a red path tracing his route through the tents before he collides with Sabaka.

SEEDANCE 2 vs FAST vs MINI
Seedance 2.0 mini just went live on @capcutapp and I tested the exact same storyboard for reference and prompt to see which one performs best.
And the difference is actually crazy 😳
Which one do you think came out on top? 👀
