If they hadn't used a bullet as the thing that took him down, this wouldn't have been a problem.

Cause it's been 20 years in this universe, we are familiar with them fighting off things above human. Humanity has to rely on them, and now suddenly 1 bullet can take out 1 of the most beloved superheroes. Weird choice.

And no, exposing Superman to the sun doesn't instantly heal him cause your movie make it very clear in the beginning.

Talk about a cartoon villain where they build an evil machine with a self destruct button right on it. That's what this movie is.

The point is this thing appears in the middle of the city without warning (this is stupid btw, not logical, but lets roll with it). People is like feet away from it, taking pictures when Superman first arrive, people still in nearby building, etc...

Literally in the scene just before this (green lantern poking its eye), you can see people still trying to run from the monster in the street where the car was. But cut to the tail swing, no one was there anymore and Superman have time to save a squirrel and prioritize it instead of caring for the people nearby. Talk about forcing it.

Well I like a good woman lead movie like Kpop demon hunter. "But its a cartoon ☝️🤓" No it gave women the correct portrayal and representation. Show strength, emotion and love beautifully. Whereas James Gunn Supergirl is just over the place. I hate the writing most as it makes absolutely zero logical sense, even if it was in cartoon format.

When I say Supergirl fail so fans lose hope in the DCU is because of the direction style and storytelling style of Supergirl not that it was a woman movie. If I just hate just to hate i wouldn't have purchased a ticket and sat through new Superman and Supergirl movie. But that's the only 2 movie I have seen from this universe reboot and its not looking good.

is the next movie going to have Superman, Peacemaker, Lantern, Supergirl, and Creature Commandos in it? Cause what the purpose of making a standalone film when you're just rebooting your universe? Don't you want to make a story where all your recent reboot character get together in 1 big screen?

I don't get why you're dragging politics into this when this is a discussion about a movie. I'm not even in America dude.

I get that you want your version of Superman to be light hearted, familyfriendly. And that is no way wrong. You are entitled to your opinion as much as me. But all i see is this push that James Gunn approach to Superman is the correct portrayal and therefore the best version of Superman stuff and it just pissed me off and probably other movie enjoyers too.
