Anthony Gordon leaves our doors as one of my favourite human beings to ever enter it, I’d be surprised if that lad ever had clean kit after a match.
The upmost professionalism and respect goes to him, as he had for us.
What a role model, smash it Anthony.
🚨🐺 Wolves agree deal to sign Kieran Trippier on a free move, here we go!
Deal done on a two year contract as @SkySports_Keith reports.
The agreement will include an extra season as option. Trippier already said yes.
And to all you Newcastle fans who said Gordon was shite whilst playing for 12th place mediocrity I hope you have seen the news that he’s joined one of the biggest clubs in the world, absolute idiots 👍
■Declan rice to Arsenal
Josh Kroenke looked at the price tag and said, "That's a little ahead of where I thought we'd be."
Over 100 million pounds. Arsenal had never spent anything close to that.
But Arteta kept pushing. Edu kept pushing. The whole leadership team sat in a room together.
Josh had one question.
"If we're paying that kind of money, it can't just be for talent on the pitch. Is he a leader?"
Someone said, "Talk to him for 10 seconds. You'll know."
Josh met Declan Rice.
Ten seconds later, he knew.
Arsenal broke their transfer record. Declan Rice won them the Premier League.
Declan Rice loves West Ham and has shown nothing but respect to us always.
We couldn’t match his ambitions, but he left respectfully for a very large fee and always gave his all.
He never refused to train, gave his all right until the end and probably stayed a good 2 more years than he could have.
Got stick last week for saying we’re happy to see him succeed. You can hate Arsenal but also feel proud of him deep down, for some odd reason a lot of people can’t separate the two.
All I’ve see is people say his reaction to us being relegated is performative. He spent 10 years at the club, and let’s be honest, deep down would have stayed if we could’ve went to the next level with him. He loves this football club, there’s zero need for him to perform for the cameras.
