Hi, pals,
A dear friend just notified me that a spammer is using my name to send spam emails with a dangerous link. So if you receive an email from me with an attachment, check that it’s from my email address.

A quick note to let friends and colleagues know that my short story collection Islands of Time has an incorrect copyright date of 2023. The collection was published by Cemetery Dance in March 2024. We tried to get the date corrected, but couldn't.
There is an original story in the collection, also with an incorrect copyright date. It, too, should be copyright (c) 2024. The story is entitled "A Perfect Summer for Baseball, Tentacles, Mutants, and Love" by Jack Dann and Barry N. Malzberg. It will also be published in
The collection was published by the good folks at Cemetery Dance and can be purchased in various formats at https://t.co/kT2qrHOKFw and https://t.co/UEhP55CVcV.
Take a look, and, if you like it, please leave a review on Amazon.
Cheers!
Islands of Time was published in March of 2024, not 2023. This is something we all missed at the time, including =me=. Unfortunately, it has had some negative repercussions such as limited reviews, etc.
I've done a reading from my new short story collection Islands of Time for Readercon, one of my favorite conventions. You can see/hear me doing my thing at:

Ellen just posted that Howard Waldrop has passed away. Didn’t know him personally but loved his fiction. Truly original. ❤️ “Ugly Chickens” has to be one of the greatest SF stories ever.
