@krystalchantalc @BovrilG The lack of popularity here is mostly due to mad scheduling decisions by BBC Two - first series was weekly primetime, then it was two episodes at half ten on Saturday night, then an episode every weekday at half eleven. Suspect it would've taken off if it stayed in a good slot.

@DrMatthewSweet I saw it as a film about war correspondents/photographers - what drives them, how they cope (or don't) and the ethics of war reporting. The US civil war setting wasn't plausible, but it worked as a backdrop to the story, details felt 'true' and drawn from real civil conflicts.

@volewriter I think the problem is that 'gender critical' has been adopted as a label by transphobic extremists, and some folk have only come across it in that context & aren't aware of the history of the term.

@lucyinglis Still useful in confirming the passport is legit, I suppose. I don't know where they just let folk covering their faces through - in the UK you have to show your face to get in, no exceptions. Women wearing a burka or veil can ask for a private room with only women staff.
