@fredsoda This is a bit of a weird statement to make considering we’re almost at the point where Gen Z has aged out of traditional college years (18-22)
@nickwoj98@_CHlCO@NndnRtc Also, I’m not under the impression that any other city’s pride parade day has this specific issue. Like can anyone tell me is there an influx of Watts residents in West Hollywood the day and subsequent night of the LA one? Ditto for SF or Philly or wherever?
@Empty_America@FrenlyOfficer god you guys are going back and forth and neither is budging
Fwiw I think Empty America is more correct when it comes to true devout practicing catholic communities.
This other guy might be right for performative “I’m now Catholic, where’s my tradwife” online influenced culture
@aaron_renn I was in Seattle all this past week m. Going to bars, as one does. To a man (woman) every service worker I encountered near downtown said there had been a massive effort the previous week to shoo away the Tent-Americans.
@aaron_renn I just flew back (to Chicago) from a weeklong trip in Seattle. Pretty sure we lucked out weather wise but I was utterly stunned by the apparent level of wealth and conscientiousness I found there. They do a great job of keeping it a secret.
