Or his new one, Reform UK would shut down Channel 4 if they participated Eurovision after the BBC withdrew due to government pressure after Israel was booted
@BTM9876@deevil_j@groetjesnar Last month the Gaza: Doctors Under Attack documentary won a BAFTA. Channel 4 picked it up and aired it because the BBC were spooked out of airing it, so I think the so called “non-political” ESC wouldn’t be an issue.
@BTM9876@deevil_j@groetjesnar At that point I’m sure there would be concerns raised about the independence of the remaining UK EBU members from the government if they can’t participate in ESC for fear of being shut down. This entire scenario is insane and unrealistic to begin with but there we are.
@BTM9876@deevil_j@groetjesnar This entire situation is based on very wishful thinking on your part, but I reckon in the event the BBC were made to sit out an Israel-free Eurovision the channel that’s aired loads of documentaries about Gaza would step in without a thought.
The EHRC Guidance on single-sex spaces is unjust and unworkable.
That's why UNISON are demanding MPs stand with trans and non-binary workers and oppose the guidance.
Racist rubberman Eurovision fan is a combination I never thought I’d see. Racist Eurovision fan and rubber man Eurovision fan, both done to death. Racist rubberman Eurovision fan calling for the return of the death penalty? A brand new combination.
