@elonmusk Can Optimus learn how to gut & muck a house post disaster / flooding. If so, this would be an incredible breakthrough in serving disaster survivors. Let's do this together @hopeforce.org
@Tesla_Optimus Optimus Robots @hopeforce: helping disaster survivors recover from devastation. What a great promotional and meaningful collaboration possibility. Robots for good! Working in difficult conditions mucking out houses post-flood, tarping roofs, etc. We can do this together!
I'm curious. Who among us, when we see the devastating effects of a natural disaster, want to do something to help but don't know where to even begin? You may choose to give financially toward the efforts of a trusted disaster response agency, and that is definitely needed. However, others of us are compelled to do something hands-on. To actually volunteer for trouble. To run into the fray of the disaster zone. To provide practical, tangible help that makes a difference in the lives of disaster survivors.
If that’s you, this is your lucky day! Hope Force International (HFI) exists for people just you. HFI has created a pathway for volunteer service on behalf of disaster survivors, and it’s easier than you think to get started. Hope Force can help you get equipped and prepared for disaster response service. https://t.co/jHEy2nV5wF @hopeforce #disastervolunteer #naturaldisasters
We look to the Lord to carry us through all of the tragedies that we witness in the world of disaster relief.
Not only are some jobs physically taxing, but coming alongside these families who have lost everything is emotional and heavy in every way.
He renews our strength 💙

From Jack Minton, Hope Force International Founder:
"Helping people in the immediate aftermath of a natural disaster is life-changing.
Isaiah 61:1-3 TPT
[1] 'The mighty Spirit of Lord Yahweh is wrapped around me because Yahweh has anointed me, as a messenger to preach good news to the poor…'
The poor can be those beaten down by life’s circumstances, regardless of how much money one has in the bank. As someone who has given the last 20 years of my life to helping people suffering from natural disasters, I can tell you what good news looks like to a survivor. It looks like someone they’ve never met and may never see again — rolling up their sleeves, doing the hard, dirty work of practical assistance; mucking out nasty, water-soaked drywall, carpeting, wood floors that have been destroyed, personal belongings and more. It is climbing up on a damaged roof after a tornado or hurricane to expertly apply blue tarps in an effort to avoid further damage from the next storm. It is a willingness to do everything possible to assure survivors that someone cares -- that God cares, and His heart breaks over their suffering. As followers of Jesus, we feel compelled to help.
[3] 'to strengthen those crushed by despair…'
I’ve witnessed as strength and renewed hope has risen in the heart of someone crushed by their circumstances -- all because someone cares. This encounter is not only transformative in the lives of those who’ve received help, but also in those who extend it; it can be a life-changing experience for all."
