We wanted an inclusive outdoor fitness park for the community and it will hopefully be a reality in 2022. Great team effort with @cmckenney and @ottawacity

We have been instructed by the City of Ottawa to shut down our facility tomorrow due to the checkpoints being set up in Centretown.

All facilities (pool/weight room) will be closed and the P.A Day Program has been cancelled.

Due to the ongoing protest the City of Ottawa has made the decision to close the Jack Purcell Community Centre tomorrow, Monday, January 31st.

In an effort to keep staff and children safe, After School Program has also been cancelled for tomorrow.

Due to the cancellation of OCDSB schools tomorrow, the After School Program will also be cancelled.

This means receiving a shipment of n95 masks, allowing staff time to access booster shots and implementing new protocols.

Parents will receive a detailed email on Tuesday with all of the information for their safe return to After School.
