In Southgate we trust 🙏
"When humans encounter difficult situations, our brains are programmed to behave in certain ways. Often, we succumb to the snake and ignore the ladder. For all of us, regulating our emotions is a task we learn."

We are extremely excited to launch Her Stories ⭐
The stories of girls and young women in Britain are rarely told. They are left out of popular narratives, news, curriculums, movies and TV.
This campaign is about teenage girls having that power to control the narrative ❤️
Such a powerful team meeting this morning...team brimming with surprise visits to young people who cannot access online learning and other breakthrough moments! Our first week hitting 100% engagement with 4 of our groups too. 🙏💯
When we talk about ‘Special Education Needs’ too often it is framed in terms of ‘deficits’ - what learners ‘can’t do, - rather than what they can. How can children recognise their potential if their experience of education fosters a learned helplessness & self limiting beliefs?
With schools being shut once again, the mental well-being of a generation of young people has never been more important. In light of this, we are stepping up our efforts to maintain meaningful contact with programme participants.

So encouraging to hear @MayorofLondon talking honestly about the link between adverse childhood experiences, school exclusions, social deprivation and youth violence. Looking forward to working with you through @FBeyondBorders to help all young Londoners reach their potential
A very busy day for the FBB Family! Our very own Lorenzo and Joe were speaking with @KensingtonRoyal on growing issue of mental health in football.
Thanks to the @FA and @ClarenceHouse for coming together and creating a great piece on exploring mental health 🔋✨💫
Community and grass-roots projects play a vital role in tackling the causes of violent crime. City Hall's Young Londoners Fund is helping to provide opportunities for thousands of young people - great to see how @FBeyondBorders are using the power of football to change lives.
