1) It’s *literally* your job to regulate this platform.
2) If you can’t, what does that mean? Tell us.
3) The Dept of Culture is not ‘your’ department, it’s ours. You’re its temporary custodian
5) But Facebook is ok? Really?
Notice it's never - should we tax land value annually as they do everywhere else in the western capitalist world . Should we clamp down on trusts to stop tax dodging . Or 'Lord Bamford owes the tax man £500 Million should we make the money grubbing worm pay what he owes. Hardly any one gets £60,000 in benefits :-) unless they're severely disabled and need around the clock care
This takes courage…
The Strokes closed their Coachella set flashing images of the governments the CIA has overthrown, the leaders the US has assassinated including MLK 👀, the war crimes the US is committing in Iran, and the genocide Israel is committing in occupied Palestine.
Stewart Lee is bang on here with this analysis. Comedy won't tell the truth, the question is why? follow the money. The answer lies in the production companies, who owns them? via @reginalddhunter
Energy companies made £30 BILLION in profit in a single year — while working people struggle to pay their bills - £500 from every household straight into corporate profits.
The system is working exactly as designed, just not for ordinary people.
"The words 'never again' are a big part of growing up Jewish. When I saw the slaughter in Gaza, I came to understand that...they just meant 'never again for us'."
Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's, says his Jewish upbringing gave him "so much sympathy for people that are oppressed".

Watch this and then share this. Zack Polanksi is doing what Keir Starmer should have done, treated asylum seekers with dignity and taken on the divisive rhetoric of Reform UK; watch how Polanski rebuffs the Reform UK person
Instead Starmer, Cooper and Mahmood have prostrated themselves to the far right, making division in society worse
This is why so many are leaving Labour and going Green
Zack Polanski, "Every single Labour MP needs to look to the conscience.. This is extreme, this is inhumane.. And it is a government of cowards"
"Rather than take on the powerful, because the issue here is not immigration it's inequality, Labour went for pensioners, the disabled, and now going for people fleeing wars"
"This is a totally unconscionable way to deal with things"
"And how dare the Labour minister say we are an open tolerant country, how dare she come on Newsnight and talk about compassion, at the same time as she's talking about seizing people's assets"
"This Labour government needs to hang their heads in shame"
When Panorama misled viewers about Trump the BBC got its head chopped off. When Panorama did the same thing and worse to Corbyn, it was nominated for a BAFTA. That's the power structure in a nutshell.
If NHS trusts hadn’t had to pay more than £1.8 billion in *interest charges* to private companies, that money could have paid for the starting salaries of over 50,000 NHS doctors 😮🚨
Man with stubble, "Small boats arrivals are 37,000. There are over 4 million kids in child poverty. And 4.5 million who can't get a dentist appointment" #BBCQT
"We spend 90% of the media discourse on the 37,000. How much more could we achieve if we put that effort into the 4.5 million?"
Well said that man 👏
I worked in BBC News for years. When it frames guests on the Left (Faiza Shaheen) as “activists” (undermining them) & those on the Right as “academics” (boosting them) it’s usually a subconscious - not deliberate - decision; providing a candid insight into its institutional bias
Reform keeps arguing that immigration is an issue when it isn’t.
There is a by-election right now in Caerphilly and Nigel Farage’s party keeps saying that immigration is an issue there.
BUT over 97% percent of people in the area were born in the UK.
There are perfectly legitimate reasons to be unhappy over the state of public services in the area, but it’s not down to immigration.
We need to start debating based on facts not scaremongering.
.@ZackPolanski is asked about the Home Secretarys comments that yesterdays protests about Israels actions were dishonourable (she also said they were unBritish).
Zack is spot on.
Look what happens when these empty suits are held to account.
@LordWalney - former head of Labour Friends of Israel - can't even justify the existence of a proscription he has argued for.
Excellent journalism from @IsobelYeung - the rest of the media should take note
