@AlmaCanada Hi Alma, hoping to get in touch with you with a request regarding a photo I took of you in Halifax, N.S., some years ago now for my project, Halifolks! Hoping you see this and it's possible for you to add me so we can correspond, whenever you have a chance. Thank you!
@KatManhire@bkgraham Yep exactly! Basically what you're doing already, just skip the boiling water, and don't press until the morning. The boiling water basically is a shortcut for the amount of time cold water needs to absorb the coffee, but if you've got the time to cold brew, it's better!
@KatManhire@bkgraham It's not a scam, there's a difference between ice coffee and cold brew. Coffee placed in the fridge overnight tastes notably bitter and crappier because boiling water burns the beans. If you allow the boiled coffee to sit for too long the flavour goes to shit. Cold brew doesnt.
@kim_today Not good indeed. Don't exactly want to call it as being over after the first loop though, so I'm mostly just playing Fantasy #BM100 where a faster second loop is possible. History will tell us it's not going to be the case.
@nlandrewphotog @keithdunn I was thinking the same thing! I am holding out hope for a quick second loop in the light of day, but with rain, hail, and fog, it hardly seems much better out there. Reminiscent of @gary_robbins last Barkley in 2019 (was it?). Just a mess.
@keithdunn What kind of time do you think runners would have to finish this mostly daylight loop in, in order for there to be a statistically realistic chance of a finish? #bm100
@just1cyclist@keithdunn@ShahidSawati11 Agree! Absolutely loved the book. The only thing I will say is that I hope Frozen Ed writes a new edition that encapsulates the modern Barkley era, which has been such an interesting evolution! Chapter 12: Keith Dunn's Twitter Account.
