I always think abt symbolism and the unique connection Michael has with the universe and knowing this was the last song he ever performed, being abt the very thing he cared for the most, is extremely symbolic and eerily inadvertent.
The cherry picker is my favorite part of the performance bc it gives the audience a better view of him, larger than life but isolated from the other performers, screaming out pleas to the crowd below and hanging onto the rails in desperation. And then the whole peace giving at the end with the tank. I really hope future generations will still be enamoured by his storytelling.
