@danny_mercer@Xeon4f145d96s1 you can’t Locum in australia you will have to go through the pep stream ( being UK CCT you are highly likely to be fully compatible) and therefore require working in an area of need with a named supervisor for at least 2 years . I think you get mrcagp after 6 months though
@Hungryhippo561@Azeem_Majeed But there isn’t really a thought about the extra workload this will put us under - I.e. a 20 mins conversation as to why the consultant b did not agree to the referral.
@Hungryhippo561@Azeem_Majeed I think the problem with A&G is it is not read by the same person even on the same thread and opinion can differ. I have had consultant A that said if you do xyz and then if result is abc then we will see . Only for the next person to say no need to see when we have done the work
@Not4Twos Once I had to take hx, examine, cannulate, took blood, did ECG, prescribed for a lady with fast AF in a ward the only thing the nurse could do was to give the physical drug. Still better than nothing .
@scottqueen101 @KaanthanJ When I was doing a home visit the other day. The first thing the patient asked was are you a doctor? I think some are catching on especially in area that uses a lot of allied professionals. Btw are you from australia- as they love the word masquerade for some reason.
@ArifBharakda@UnitedPeoplesTV I remember he got the stick at OT at the beginning of the season but because he was playing so well everyone got behind him. Also he is a graduate player . When you paid 80 million on a player a certain expectation will be there and you need to earn the respect also
@sillyoldjen@Anniedroid_ Those are just some of the examples of the recent deterioration of the nhs. How many more events do you think I can take before someone like myself will call it quit?
@sillyoldjen@Anniedroid_ Another example is the lack of an ambulance when my recently dx lung Ca pt with chest pain + sob has a sat of high 70s while I was seeing her on a home visit ended up having to drive her in my car to the surgery to give her oxygen…..
@sillyoldjen@Anniedroid_ The lack of radiology appts etc which make them pretty trigger happy at rejecting GP’s referral- Eg putting in discussed with said specialist is not enough but I need to physically proof it. This is just one of the many things that I have to deal with daily.
@sillyoldjen@Anniedroid_ The problem is nobody can see in to the future and med school takes at least 5 years and if not 7 for some. It wasn’t half as bad as it is now even 3 years ago.
@MailOnline I personally don’t see a problem with this. How else are they going to reintegrate into the society ? I am sure by exposing this they are now going to get abuses or bully by people.
