Today we trialled a @Iskushealth drape for an elective caesarean section. The baby is passed through an aperture in the drape for immediate skin to skin contact with the mother. Excellent feedback received by patients @EliMedd @UHP_NHS @PtExpUHP @helen_harling1 @mariannerowntr1

It’s that time of year again where I and all other nurses and midwives have to pay €100 registration fee to be allowed to practice. Can’t help but say the absolute cheek of them asking US to pay THEM to work in the current conditions, no wonder staff retention is a problem.

Just days after the anniversary of Aishling Murphys murder and another woman has been murdered by a man in Dublin. Meaning that in the short 14 days of 2023 4 women have been killed by a man in Ireland.
Violence against women is truly an epidemic.
We deserve better.
