NYC is literally going DARK in the middle of a brutal heatwave.
Tens of thousands without power, ACs dying, people sweating in the dark like it’s some third-world dump.
On top of that, Mamdani is enforcing a thermostat MANDATE of 78 degrees.
This is what happens when you import the third-world and implement dirty commie policies. You aren’t even allowed to control the temperature in your own home.
These are the same people who created the Green New Scam, defund the grid, and tried to ban oil.
Suddenly they’re begging you to ‘conserve’ while the lights go out.
Communism doesn’t power your fridge, it kills it. America First or blackouts forever.
This is one of the most out of touch things you’ll ever see
Former CDC Chief Medical Officer Dr. Deb Houry is told that faith in the medical system is so low a record number of states are pulling out of following the childhood vaccines schedule, and if she thinks that faith in the medical system can be restored
Her response “I think the secretary (Robert F Kennedy Jr) has caused a lot of irreparable harm”
She literally is trying to blame the lack of with in the medical system on RFK Jr….
Not covid, not the media, now Anthony Fauci, Biden, the WHO or the CDC…. No she’s saying people don’t have faith because RFK Jr
These people are corrupt liars
@DonnieDetroit19@jackson_scruffy@chrislong_mi@JohnJamesMI He hasn't answered me for 6 years now.
He also ignores his districts constituents.
His campaign is a highly funded PR campaign, with as much minimal exposure as possible, like you said.
It's a joke, and a disgrace to Michigan Republicans.
He's not going to answer you. The key to John James campaign so far has been to minimize his public exposure except to planned controlled situations. The reason is his staff knows he's likely to say or do something stupid and impact the race negatively. The debate removes the shields and exposes James to criticism he will have to answer to. Unless he too scared to even show up. And that is a real possibility.
"Your great-grandmother was not trying to manifest a beach vacation. She was not curating an aesthetic. She was not optimizing...anything. She had a list, and the list was short, and the list was sacred.
A full pantry. Healthy children. A roof that did not leak. A husband who came home. A garden that produced. A few good dresses. A reliable stove. Sunday dinner with people she loved. Enough flour for the week and enough kindness for the neighbors.
That was the whole dream. That was the whole life. And by the standards of most of human history, achieving that list was a roaring success.
Then the twentieth century happened, and somebody figured out that a woman who is content is terrible for business. A woman with a full pantry is not running to the store. A woman who is satisfied with her kitchen is not redoing it every four years. A woman who knows what enough looks like cannot be sold the next thing.
So they got to work. They made the small house embarrassing. They made the old car embarrassing. They made the home-cooked meal embarrassing, and then when nobody knew how to cook anymore they sold it back as a meal kit with a celebrity chef on the box. They raised the cost of living until both parents had to work, and then they sold daycare and convenience food and weekend therapy to fix the exhaustion that working both jobs created in the first place.
They took your great-grandmother's list and called it poverty. They took her life and called it limited. They took her contentment and called it a lack of ambition.
And then they sold you ambition. They sold you a bigger house you cannot clean, a car you cannot pay off, a wardrobe you do not wear, a calendar you cannot survive, and a vague constant feeling that you are still falling behind.
You are not falling behind. You are running a race that was designed to have no finish line. The race itself is the product.
Go back and read her list."

Two countries split from the same colonial body in 1965. One picked economic freedom. The other picked handouts and racial spoils. You already know how this ended.
Singapore had no oil, no farmland, no hinterland. Just a swamp and a port. Lee Kuan Yew looked at that and trusted trade, low taxes, and hard money. Central planners hate what he did.
Malaysia went the other way. In 1971 Kuala Lumpur launched the New Economic Policy, a state program handing quotas, contracts, and university seats to ethnic Malays. Politicians decided who got what. A commissar fantasy dressed in liberal language.
Now let's look at the numbers. In 1965 both places sat around $500 per capita. Today Singapore clears $84,000. Malaysia sits near $13,000. Same climate, same starting line, one sixth the result.
The Singapore dollar holds its value because the Monetary Authority of Singapore manages it against a currency basket and refuses to print its way out of trouble. The ringgit has lost roughly two thirds of its value against the Singapore dollar since 1981.
You cannot subsidize your way to wealth. You cannot redistribute what you never let people produce. Every ringgit funneled through a quota is a ringgit some bureaucrat spent on his own vision instead of a customer's.
Malaysia bet on planners deciding outcomes. Singapore bet on people deciding for themselves. The gap between $84,000 and $13,000 is your answer.
The Presbyterian Church (USA), the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States, has passed a measure expressing support for body-deforming sex-change surgeries for youth exhibiting gender dysphoria.
Wow....the church has lost its compass.
Wool is a technology so good that if a startup unveiled it tomorrow, it would raise a fortune.
Run through the spec sheet with a straight face.
It keeps you warm even when it's soaking wet, which almost nothing else does. It is naturally flame-resistant. It doesn't catch and melt onto your skin like plastic does. It chars, refuses to sustain the flame, and puts itself out when you take the fire away. It manages moisture, breathes, and resists smell so well you can wear it for days. It bends tens of thousands of times without snapping.
And when you're finally done with it, you can put it in the ground and in a matter of months it's gone, rotted back into the soil, feeding it nitrogen on the way out.
Then there's the supply chain, which is the part no engineer could ever replicate. It grows back. Every year, on its own, on nothing but grass and rain, on a sheep that was going to stand on that hillside anyway. A self-renewing, fireproof, compostable insulation fibre with a production input of weather.
We replaced it with polyester. Oil, spun into thread, that melts on you in a fire, sheds plastic into the sea with every wash, and sits in landfill for centuries when you're done.
We had the better version the whole time. It says baa.
@BowesChay CIA had the new, 2014 government support the banning of Russian as an official government second language. All of the eastern areas spoke, wrote, and were educated in Russian. Tremendous hardship this new law, designed to spark revolt.
Absolutely true. When you have people like Victoria Neuland, George Soros and the Burisma Oligarch involved in corruption, your going to have problems. Then the US has all these labs doing illegal activities. Add in the NeoNazis killing Russian speaking Ukrainians who voted to be part of Russia. Let the killing begin. Kamala Harris goes over and gives a speech saying how Ukraine can become part of NATO in the beginning of 2022 just to light the fire and the bomb goes off.
Remember, Kiev started it: Ukraine slaughtered 14,000 of its own citizens in Donbass, forcing Russia into a corner it could no longer ignore
As ex-French minister Luc Ferry puts it, the conflict did not begin in 2022, but years earlier when Kiev started massacring its own people.
Our ad about eliminating property taxes received tremendous feedback online since we posted it. We decided to put it on TV in every Michigan media market starting this morning for more voters to see.
Michigan needs an outsider who is not funded and beholden to any special interest to audit the waste, fraud, and abuse in government so we can return these tax dollars to our hard-working families!
The GOP held the line, but there's few actual cuts in the new budget. The bulk are accounting tricks tied to HHS. Michigan is 15th in GDP but 8th in state spending. A mid-tier economy with a bloated government. GA, NC, WA, & MA all have larger economies with leaner budgets. You need to do a lot better next time.
@aakashgupta A waste of resources but apparently immune from forest clearing for solar panels (ORES)... or what farmland owners need to do (i.e. find historic value to their land).
