Presidents Pull Through in Game Two!

W&J scored six runs in the final two innings of play to complete the comeback. Knox Meier extended his hitting streak in the bottom of the sixth to 20-consecutive games!

Rafe McClure picked up the win in a clean inning of work. Brendan Cuz added his fourth save of the season!

W&J senior RHP Dante DiMatteo enters this week ranked 33rd among all active @NCAADIII pitchers with a career average of 11.1 strikeouts per nine innings (minimum of 75 career innings pitched).

In 57 career appearances, DiMatteo has fanned 188 batters in 153.0 innings.

DiMatteo owns a 16-1 career record on the mound with a 3.24 ERA. He has also collected 16 saves, including 10 during his freshman year in 2022.

Brian Feldman was a triple shy of the cycle, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a home run, base hit and three RBIs. Jacob LaDuca went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a walk. Josh Dezenzo also launched his sixth homer of the season!

Erik Streussnig pitched 6.0 innings giving up one run and adding a strikeout with his fifth win of the season, now 5-0 on the year!

Cruising to Another Conference Sweep! 🧹

Brendan Cruz and Jacob LaDuca each launched homers in the game two victory over the Yellow Jackets. Cruz broke the game open with a three-run shot to put the Presidents up 4-1 in the top of the sixth!

Teddy Platt led the team in hits with three, including two doubles!

Dante DiMatteo picked up his fourth win of the season with 8.0 inning of work and five strikeouts!
