I’d be interested in the legalities behind this: in most (all?) areas, UK consumer protection rights state that the company that takes your money to provide the service (@AerLingus in this case) is the one that pays the compensation.

I wonder if the @UK_CAA know this practise is going on…

Now they’re ignoring me and telling me to speak to Emerald Airlines who don’t reply to any emails or have a phone line… 😐
