Let me show you how this works:
It’s Friday morning. You’re in America. Coffee in hand. Half-awake. Scrolling.
A headline hits you:
“America/Israel bombs residential building, 20 civilians killed, including 5 children.”
(These numbers are imaginary)
Your stomach drops. You glance at your kid. Or think about your nieces and nephews. Now you’re not just reading anymore, you’re feeling anger, rage, disgust.
By the time you get to work, the story has already settled in your mind as truth. At lunch, you bring it up. Your coworkers nod. Of course they do. Why wouldn’t they? It sounds real.
Now five more people carry that same anger.
They go home. They repeat it.
To friends. To family. Online.
Just like that, one headline becomes thousands of convictions.
But here is what never made it into that headline what you did not see, what no one bothered to check:
It wasn’t America. It wasn’t Israel.
It was a failed missile fired by the IRGC that fell on its own people.
And by the time the truth shows up, if it ever does, the damage is already done.
This is what an information war looks like in real time.
What Actually Happened
• Date and location: May 25, 2018 (nearly 8 years ago), at the Al-Zaim (A’Zaim) checkpoint near Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank.
• Victim: Karam Qawasmi, a 22-year-old Palestinian man (not a child/“youth”). He survived the incident, was hospitalized, and later spoke publicly about it.
• What occurred: After a security check, officers told him to “get out” / “go.” As he walked away (hands raised, ~20 seconds later), a Border Police officer fired a sponge-tipped bullet (a non-lethal crowd-control round, not live sniper ammunition) into his back at relatively close range. He screamed in pain and fell.
• Not IDF “long-range shooting practice”: This was Israeli Border Police (paramilitary unit handling checkpoints), not regular army soldiers in a combat operation. No long-range rifle or “target practice” — it was a single unnecessary shot during a checkpoint interaction.
Legal Outcome
The female Border Police officer who fired was charged with assault and reckless use of a weapon. In June 2020, she pleaded guilty in Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court and was convicted (physical assault, reckless use of weapon, obstruction of justice). The judge described the act as done “as a form of dubious entertainment.” She faced up to 3 years but the exact sentence isn’t detailed in public reports.
This was not ignored — Israeli authorities investigated after the video leaked in 2019, prosecuted, and convicted the officer.
Hamas congratulate their people for hurting or killing J00s. Israelis convict people for firing non-lethal rubber bullets at Palestinian criminals. There is an apartheid but it isn't israel
Khamenei ordered security forces to shoot Iranian protesters in the head even inside hospitals.
Islamic Republic raided medical centers and killed the wounded people lying in their beds.
Tens of thousands of Iranians were killed in less than 48 hours.
Where were your voices then? Why were you silent?
These two kids were viewers of my YouTube videos.
Many more like them were killed as well.

In 2000, two Israeli reservist soldiers, Yosef Avrahami and Vadim Norzhich, accidentally drove into Ramallah. They weren’t on a mission, they had simply taken a wrong turn. Palestinian Authority police stopped them and brought them to a local police station.
As news spread that Israelis were being held inside, an anti Israel crowd gathered outside. The crowd grew increasingly agitated until they forced their way into the station, where they beat, stabbed and mutilated the soldiers to death.
One moment from that day became especially infamous. A man named Aziz Salha leaned out of a window of the police station with his hands covered in the soldiers’ blood and raised them toward the cheering crowd. A photograph captured this image, which quickly became known as the “red hands” picture. Other pictures taken from same event showed the attackers holding the bowels and intestines of the two Israelis for the baying crowd to cheer over.
For many Israelis, it became one of the most painful symbols of the violence and hatred that marked that period.
Today, we see students painting their hands red, or celebrities wearing the same symbol on red-carpet outfits, believing they are expressing solidarity with Palestinians. But many are unaware that this symbol is tied to a brutal lynching that remains deeply traumatic for Jews and Israelis. And if they are aware, then the gesture becomes even more disturbing, aligning not with peace or justice, but with utterly barbaric and horrific violence.
An endangered whale shark, named “Ofek” by conservationists, has been living near Israel’s Mediterranean coastline for years.
Today, Palestinians killed the endangered shark and hauled its carcass through the streets of Gaza in celebration. 😔

This is why Israel is at war, if anyone asks.
