Wow. It happened. Riot officially recognizes TFT as a core “multi-decade” game at Riot alongside League and VALORANT.

This should be glorious, triumphant news. Instead it’s a somber, sobering reminder of corporate realities.

How can victory be worthy of celebration at the cost of hundreds lost along the way? Many of whom were responsible for how the TFT scene even got here.

To anyone affected who touched TFT even for a moment, we owe you a great debt. Thank you all for building this amazing community.
