I received this award over a year ago. Today I finally received the plaque. The Central New York Book Award may not be a leg lamp, but I’m glad my humble little book has received recognition on both sides of the border.
Some grainy point-and-shoot selfies I took in Montreal at 21 or 22, before selfies were really a thing. Not sure what possessed me, except perhaps the feeling that I would never be that age, or that particular person, ever again.
