@Kaomedyy@udaregagochodai I was confused at first as most games use ai and was about to ask what kind of ai your talking about as most ai in games is scripted/rule based ai that is coded and operated completely different from genai. You probably should make that clear when address ai to clear confusion
@ThatsNotScandal@wolf_couch@LuvDoveyAnna97@fimbultr0987147@Lunaflorisi@grok Dude defamation isn't a good thing or something to joke about you know you can end up being sued because of it you have to be careful when your accusing people of things or It can back fire against you as your admitting here that you where bored and sided to lie and start shit
@MinistryOvTrvth typical behavior cant handle being wrong so you just brush it under the rug only thing your doing is making yourself look uneducated to a point no one will believe you on anything you say and your going to say the wrong thing one of these days and its going to get you in trouble
Can people please learn the differences between generative ai vs scripted / rule based ai please they're created and operate completely differently from each other
I feel like YouTube is going to lose alot of money because of this as many corporations rather have their own ai train on others people data then having it the other way around
I feel like their shooting themselves in the foot with this
if their saying they have the rights to do more then broadcasting your uploads then why would people keep posting on there. Like record companies they don't want their artists songs trained and used because of copyright
@MEGUjuke I see the "ai artist" thing as a trend these are the same peaple who supported/said the same thing about NFTS and crypto the genai will lose its shininess as the gratification wears off as the point of art isnt just about the end results its the process of improving/creating it
@MEGUjuke@brus_vein Yeah most of them dont as they cant even explain their own logic to themselves. Their also the same type of people who doesn't believe in hard work and things should just be handed to them just because they say so it's like telling a kid no and the kid throws a tantrum about it
@brus_vein@MEGUjuke she got mad at me one time she was ruining her mouth about anti ai coders being replaced with ai. I explained to her that their not going to be replaced called her uneducated on the topics she told me that she never seen me before and not apart of her community then blocked me 😂
@MEGUjuke That's because they preach about stuff they don't even understand their trying to water down all the different ai's into one term trying to make it become meaningless so people have a harder time complaining/fighting against the misinformation thats being spread around about it
@ednewtonrex Couldn't record companies get involved to because they also post their creators music on YouTube as well whats stopping Google from using it. The ai isnt going to know whats indie and whats not unless Google hand fed the ai training. Maybe thats why they wont show the data
"AI 3D models look melted" is officially outdated.
Tripo's HD Model 3.1 outputs high-detail models with clean topology, ready for 3D printing, games, or film.
No manual modeling.
@RileyBobbert@wariocolosseum Unless they hire people to create brand new datasets without use of genai and have the models train off it instead but that would be more time consuming and money waisted
@RileyBobbert@wariocolosseum The research explains how It's not that simple with so much generated ai data online it would be impossible to separate it from human created data as companies have their models scrubbing the internet for the datasets it needs as it cant tell the differences between ai and humans
@RileyBobbert@wariocolosseum Funny thing is it's already happening ai is burning it self out as the internet is so full of generated ai that the new models cant tell the differences between human and ai as it's being trained. It's making recent models worse then ever before https://t.co/Lr4UIZ3SeD
You have noticed it. ChatGPT feels dumber than it used to. Your prompts that worked six months ago produce worse results now. The writing sounds flatter. The ideas sound safer. The internet itself feels like it is shrinking. Every article reads the same. Every email sounds the same. Every answer sounds like it was written by the same voice.
You thought it was you. It is not you.
Researchers at Oxford and Cambridge published a paper in Nature proving what is happening. They call it Model Collapse.
Here is the mechanism in one sentence. AI trained on AI-generated data gets dumber every generation until it forgets what real human data looked like.
The internet is filling with AI-generated content. Blog posts. Articles. Reviews. Comments. Social media. AI companies scrape the internet to train the next generation of models. Which means the next generation of AI is being trained on the output of the current generation.
Each cycle loses information. Not randomly. It loses the rarest, most unusual, most creative parts first. The researchers call these the "tails of the distribution." The weird ideas. The unexpected perspectives. The things that made the internet feel human. Those disappear first.
What remains is the average. The safe. The expected. The bland.
Then the next generation trains on that. And loses more. And the next generation trains on that. And loses more. The researchers proved this is not a slow decline. Major degradation happens within just a few iterations. Even when some of the original human data is preserved.
They tested it on large language models. On image generators. On statistical models. The pattern was the same every time. The output converges toward a narrow, flattened version of reality that looks nothing like the original data.
The lead researcher put it plainly. "Large language models are like fire. A useful tool. But one that pollutes the environment."
The pollution is invisible. You cannot see which sentence on the internet was written by a human and which was written by AI. Neither can the AI that is about to train on it. And once the tails are gone, they do not come back. The damage is irreversible.
This is not a prediction anymore. It is a diagnosis.
The internet you grew up on was built by humans writing things no algorithm would have written. Strange, personal, imperfect, alive. That internet is being diluted. One generation of AI at a time. And the models trained on what remains are learning a smaller and smaller version of the world.
Model Collapse is not a technical problem. It is a cultural one. The thing that made the internet worth reading is the thing that disappears first.
@RileyBobbert@wariocolosseum You have to work hard towards a goal as you dont get handed things in life for doing nothing what you think people with jobs do they dont have time or money ether but they work and most also have hobbies to and im stating your just going to generate the same pic over & over again
@MinistryOvTrvth Yeah no thats not how that works just emit your uneducated about ai you just want to water down all the different ai's into one term trying to make it become meaningles so people have a harder time complaining/fighting against the misinformation thats being spread around about it
