The SARB-determined 'downward phase' of the business cycle is now at 102 months (and counting), double the previous record (1989-1993). Well on track for a full 'lost decade'. Per capita GDP down -5% in real ZAR since 2013, and about -25% in real USD.
During the BVCF meeting on 14 July, the committee decided to open another window of share sales from 19 August to 9 September 2022, to give producers an additional opportunity to buy shares. Only N$ 54 million shares will be available and will be sold on a first come basis.
The results of the #MTC#MOCNW IPO process were released this evening. In total, the IPO has raised N$2.541bn, out of a target of N$3.124bn. While falling short of the target, this IPO is more than three times larger than the previous largest IPO on the NSX.

@MTCNamibia Listing - 49.0% of the ordinary shares will be made available to the public. The prospectus will open on 20 Sept '21 with listing to occur before Nov '21. The subscription will close on 1 Nov '21 at 12h00.
@cirrus_capital expects the valuation of MTC to range between NAD6.0 billion to NAD7.2 billion. If successful the listing will be the largest in the NSX's history.
