Ollie Scarles is just 20 years old. The criticism I've seen online in our own academy player is fucking disgusting.

Yes he is going to make mistakes, haven't we all made mistakes? Luckily for him he has time to rectify them.

He is still developing but sadly the left hand side is suffering because we don't have an experienced Left Back for him to work with on a regular basis.

One of the worst decisions West Ham made was ship out Emerson for 700K (or even release Cresswell) and buy in Diouf for £19m. There is such an imbalance on the left hand side and the club need to invest in an experienced player to support the growth of Scarles.

This is a serious area which needs looking at.

Can we please stop hating on a player because of a singular mistake made in a game.
Scarles wasn’t poor today, yes was clumsy giving away the pen and yes contributed to us throwing away the lead, but that doesn’t mean he was poor overall.
He looked good going forward working well with Solomon, made a goal line clearance, made some good recoveries and a couple good interceptions too.
Wasn’t the best performance ever but def wasn’t the worse, so he is not deserving of all the hate I see for him on here.

He is still young and still learning, so yes can call out the mistake, yes can criticise it, but hating on him and calling him names and useless is not only bull but also not helpful nor needed.
