TX-18 for example had two back-to-back reps die less than a year apart. Then add what feels like a new runoff every month.

There have been so many elections lately that lots of us have completely lost track of what’s going on.

In the primary, Dems cast 335K votes compared to 180K for Repubs. But in the runoff, Democratic turnout collapsed to 112K — just 33% of primary turnout — while Republicans turned out 134K, or 74%.
