1. One true church
2. Only their sacraments are the most valid

@Ameen_HGA Forced participation in welfare funding is antithetical to what scripture teaches though. God loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor 9:7). If I am compelled to contribute then there’s nothing morally good about it. It’s like giving your wife flowers just because your boss told you to.

You’re missing the point. The New Testament does indeed teach that we are predestined to be conformed to the Image of his Son (Rom 8:29), but this is different than what Satan (and Joseph Smith) offer. Satan is offering total autonomy and sovereignty apart from God. Satan promised Adam and Eve that they would become gods themselves, apart from God, being the judge of good and evil. The NT teaches we will be like God, but it is through obeying him and fully submitting ourselves to him for all eternity.

Is Jesus God, or is Jesus one of the gods? Is he co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Spirit? Are all three of them distinct persons sharing a single divine essence? Is God one being yet three in person (Father, Son, Spirit)? If you don’t believe that, then you don’t believe in the same Jesus as true Christendom.

William Tyndale didn't just disagree with purgatory, he completely roasted it as a the theological absurdity and a financial scam that it is.

Theological absurdity: If the blood of Jesus actually cleanses us from all sin, then adding a purgatorial fire on top of it is basically saying the cross wasn't enough. Tyndale pointed out the ridiculousness of it by asking why a little money to the Pope could get a soul out of purgatory, but the blood of Christ couldn't.

Financial racket: The church kept people terrified for their dead loved ones and then offered a financial cure for that fear. Tyndale even called his opponent Thomas More the "Proctor of Purgatory" because he saw the defenders of the doctrine as lawyers protecting a fraudulent business model.

Tyndale's all our rejection of purgatory wasn't just a side issue… it was central to recovering the gospel. He was defending the truth that our standing before God rests entirely on the finished work of Christ and not on human works or buying clerical favors.

Satan and one of his demons appeared to Joseph Smith when he was 14 years old in 1820. This was the beginning of a new cult and an age of deception. Christ’s true church was organized in ~33 AD. One of the devil’s major lies came to fruition in 1830. I thank my Father in Heaven for spiritual discernment.
