I found this 1981 XLH in York, PA this weekend. It came from the original owner, and was manufactured at the Harley plant in York. It’s been a while since I’ve bought a running bike… how refreshing!
@tai_cur @friendshapedcar I’m not a huge fan. The light they produce is too blue for my taste, and they’re so bright I feel like I’m blinding oncoming traffic. Replacing them with a warmer, single LED bulb behind a factory style lens is on my to do list.

After countless hours of work, I finally got a trouble-free, leak-free ride in on my 1972 XLCH this evening. Old Harleys aren’t exactly know for their reliability, but dang do they look good!
I spent a solid 20 minutes in the bedding section of Target trying to figure out what the cover for a comforter is called, and why I couldn’t buy just the cover without accompanying pillow cases. Question two remains a mystery.
