Either I'm not using it correctly or Claude Code is super overrated.
Been using man for the last three weeks. Same with Claude, man has just been giving me the correct thing first try, while Claude is giving me a bunch of BS.
Running ads is the cheat code for business
You literally get to promote your business 24/7
Yet the average business owner can’t comprehend this. So the question is, are you OK with being average?
If not, it’s time to learn how to run ads.
Instagram is by far the most underrated social platform for local service businesses.
That’s where the buying decisions are being made on a daily basis.
People are also transitioning their searches to IG especially for a local service.
How does a post get picked up by the algorithm here? Is it mostly search based or does the algorithm test based on interests and all posts have a chance to get picked up?
Fastest way to kill your business is to stop marketing once you get busy.
You got busy because you marketed, what do you think is going to happen once the noise fades?
No, not back to normal. Reality is you’ll be at lows that you don’t even want to imagine. If you’ve been there before you know what I’m talking about already.
In 2018 I spent the entire summer writing one file of code for an internship and didn’t ship a single line of code during that time.
Fast forward a few years and now I can build entire apps in minutes.
Blows my mind, I was a useless developer, but there was no other choice back then for that company.
What are they even teaching in school now?? Are there vibe coding classes, gonna check my Alma maters directory soon.
Here’s the easiest way to get to 1 million followers on a platform (I’ve done it twice)
1. Accept that it’s going to be really hard and will take time so just be ready for the suck.
2. Actually provide value, you won’t get past 100k without providing some sort of intrinsic value to the viewers. I can make a whole post on what viewers find valuable.
3. Repeat what works until it breaks. Don’t try to constantly reinvent the wheel. Yes 1 mil will require pivots but you should squeeze all the juice out while it’s working.
4. Actually ask for the follow. Actually it’s the reason why my page grew significantly faster than some of my peers with the same view count. I didn’t ask for a like or comment i asked for the follow.
Here’s the easiest way to get to 100k subscribers on YouTube (I’ve done it twice)
1. YouTube shorts, make around 300 videos as quickly as you can. The trick is to actually try to improve and replicate what you see is doing well already but in your own style.
2. Ask for the subscribe. Seems simple but literally asking the viewers to subscribe can 10x the speed in which your channel grows.
Home service pros are sitting on a goldmine but most spend all their time stuck in fulfillment and never get out of being a slave to the business.
The first step to freeing yourself is client acquisition. More clients brings more revenue and you can solve anything with the right cash flow.
