I've been paying attention to this for years and i'm convinced now that modern architecture is hostile on purpose. walk into any office building built after 1970 and pay attention to what happens to your breathing. the ceilings are exactly low enough to make you feel compressed but not so low that you'd complain. the lighting is exactly wrong enough to make everyone look slightly sick. whoever designed these spaces understood something about human psychology that they are using against you. now walk into a cathedral built in the 1200s and notice that your chest opens involuntarily. someone eight hundred years ago knew which proportions make the human spirit expand and they built it into stone. it is the most serious engineering that has ever existed and we replaced it with whatever the fuck is happening in every downtown on earth right now
The cameras scan license plates and vehicles, then flag those connected to serious crimes, including vehicles tied to cases both inside and outside Missouri. https://t.co/Y4Pdyc7ptz
This doesn’t go nearly far enough. Seniors shouldn’t pay any taxes at all. No income tax, no sales tax - nothing. And to thank them for the great fiscal situation of the USA today, college students should take on additional loans to fund cruise vacations for all seniors.
I filed with FEC for the 2028 House race.
This allows me to raise funds to continue my political operations supporting my position as a current office holder and as a potential candidate for federal office.
I haven’t made a final decision about which office to seek, if I run.
The American chestnut was the dominant tree of the eastern US forest for thousands of years. One in every four trees in the Appalachians was a chestnut.
Then, between 1904 and 1940, a fungal blight from Asia killed roughly four billion of them. The species nearly went extinct as a forest tree within a single human lifetime.
The recovery effort is now in its fourth decade. The American Chestnut Foundation breeds disease-resistant hybrids by crossing American chestnuts with blight-resistant Chinese chestnuts, then backcrossing for generations to recover the American tree's form.
Other researchers have used gene editing to insert a wheat gene that detoxifies the blight.
The first restoration plantings are alive and growing in the Appalachians. They won't be mature for another 50 years.
None of the people who started this work will see it finished, but we should all be glad they're doing it.
It’s 1:15 in the morning, but @timburchett and I are still fighting to protect your privacy from government surveillance. It’s time to end Flock Cameras’ massive overreach of tracking citizens license plates! The 4th Amendment has to be protected
You can back law enforcement and still defend the Fourth Amendment.
Those two things are not opposites.
Wanting criminals caught does not mean innocent Americans should have their movements logged, stored, and searchable for months or years without serious safeguards.
A free society should be able to support public safety and ask hard questions about government surveillance.
Someone in California has been cutting down and destroying Flock cameras 🎥
Oh no. That's bad. Definitely don't do that...

Cop uses Flock cameras & software to illegally track his mistress, his wife, his mistresses boyfriend, etc....
He is then suspended but keeps using the Flock (but I thought they were "secure" [they're not...]) system to unlawfully monitor these American citizens.
He's eventually pleaded to misdemeanors (not felonies?) and got "3 years of informal probation."
This is just one of thousands of cases where we know these systems are being unlawfully used - imagine how many times it's happening where we never hear about it...
To see if you or your loved ones are being tracked you can check HaveIBeenFlocked dot com - that site can only track one type of search and the State can search the system in many, many different ways that aren't accessible without a contract so it's incomplete.
Plan accordingly...

The mass surveillance state spread quickly over the past couple years.
Hopefully, as people realize the universal danger these systems present, the dots on the map will shrink as quickly as they appeared.
Disseminate accordingly...

Ideas are cheap. Execute, make, ship, finish ANYTHING you're more effective than people 10x more "talented" than you that never managed to produce anything.
Even if EWJ failed (like most of my work) I would still be making stuff all the time. But you don't get to make a success until you're willing to make a lot of failures. Therefore, it's better to make than not.
