Claude is intoxicating because creativity itself is intoxicating. You can spend hours writing prompt and think you've come up with something genius, only for someone else to immediately consider it slop.

But this happens in all kinds of writing, music production etc. Every music producer knows the feeling of being up 2am finishing a song they love, then listening to it the next day and realizing, with distance, that it is utter crap.

The entire population is now getting to understand this feeling--how when you get "too close to the work" you lose judgement and taste.

When the company is small, you have no one to blame but yourself and the difficulty of the task at hand.

Without that learning, many people bounce from big company to big company with failed projects, constantly blaming the failure on other people (or, incorrectly attributing success to their own actions, and believing things were much easier than they actually were)
