@northr90 @NHL_Muse I agree and I have no doubt that the ducks match, but 15+ was there only chance at getting the player, they found out the hard way it’s hard to trade for top line centers that fit the timeline, contract is definitely steep but need to try and take a swing

@northr90 @NHL_Muse They definitely weren’t one player from getting swept, but they have zero top line center talent, so even if he is only ever a 80 pt guy try and price Anaheim out and get a 21 y/o center better than any center in your system

@JohnChr13937345 @KarenD422 @BroadStBull @NHLFlyers You can’t have that both ways either, is the kid going to be a 110 pt guy a year in no, but he has absolutely no chance when he’s buried on the 3rd line, I understand some of the wings on the team also deserve top 6 spots but you can’t dog on the kid for producing in his role

@letmebefrankbro Have got to watch Jiricek a bunch since the trade, can definitely see him being a second pair guy, good with the puck and a great shot but lacks a little defensive awareness and skating is meh

@Versa_Jae @Mr_Argee @BarstoolPhilly Sorry for the misunderstanding, I do agree they could get by with a 2c caliber center when they are paired with two stud wingers, which is hopefully martone/Mich, it’s just incredibly frustrating the way they have gone about this Rebuild/Retool gaining few positive pieces

@Versa_Jae @Mr_Argee @BarstoolPhilly They don’t have that either though, they have at best 2 3cs and 2 4cs, if they had 4 2nd line centers you could at least be optimistic one of them can raise there play to a 1c level but they don’t have anyone you can hope to do that
