@rob2628 I think the system itself is fine. The problem in d4 is item acquisition. You guys can throw hundreds of the item you want at it until you get something good. As far as leaderboards i think rng should be a part of them in an arpg unless you want templates like challenge riftsind3

This is obviously somewhat state dependent, but households making less than ~$30,000 generally receive SNAP, free or almost free daycare, extremely subsidized health insurance, housing assistance, and other welfare benefits to keep them from falling out of society. However, once they get a raise or two and reach, say, $50,000 or more, which is still barely enough to scrape by, they lose most if not all of that, meaning they are exactly where they started before getting the raise, still barely scraping by. In truth, it takes six figures or more for a family to have the basic things, a home, a car or two, and may be a little bit of spending money, that families in the 50s had on one income. So many lower income earners find out it’s much easier just to stay where they are, because there is virtually no incentive to do better. Anyone who thinks this isn’t by design is, to use a term we need to be using more of, retarded.

When I was in 3rd grade, my parents pulled me out of school for a week to take a vacation.

We drove from Cincinnati to Bonita Beach, Florida to spend a week with my grandparents who lived down there.

5 months after that, my grandpa was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer; he passed 3 months after the diagnoses.

That trip was the last memory I have where we were all together - my mom, dad, sister, and both grandparents.

We went to the beach and swam.
We had bonfires at night and ate smores.
Me and my grandpa went fishing.
We visited an alligator park in the Everglades and fed the gators.
I have a memory of sharing a massive piece of key lime pie at a diner with grandpa.

If you are ever in a situation to take a family trip, don’t let some teacher or principal make you feel guilty. Take the trip.

Imagine if I didn’t have that memory because I had to learn my times tables instead.

This guy is the reason people can’t stand educators; many of them think they should replace mom and dad.
