Texas A&M standout Gavin Grahovac on how he’d like his time with the Aggies to be remembered and how he’d assess where the program is headed.
“We made it better than when I showed up on campus. … And with coach Earley at the head, there’s so much that this team can accomplish.”
Texas A&M baseball standout Gavin Grahovac on what his time with the Aggies has meant to him: “It means everything to me, to be honest with you. This place has changed my life (more) than I could ever imagine. … There’s nothing like this place, and I’ll forever cherish it.”
Texas A&M mourns the recent passing of Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Thomas G. Darling ’54, a decorated military hero and beloved former Commandant of the @AggieCorps. His 33-year Air Force career included more than 7,000 flight hours and numerous prestigious honors. As Commandant, he left an indelible mark on the university, and his legacy lives on through the Sanders Corps of Cadets Visitor Center he championed, the Darling Corps Recruiting Company named in his honor, and the countless cadets whose lives he shaped during and beyond his tenure.
He dedicated his post-military life to ensuring cadets had every opportunity to succeed, establishing academic support programs, formalizing recruiting efforts and initiating the Corps Hall of Honor program. General Darling was a true Aggie in every sense of the word, and his legacy will continue to shape the Corps for generations to come. Here.
