Memorial Day:

The Gospels record numerous parables. Only *one* mentions someone’s name.
Lazarus, the beggar in Luke 16.
Society knew the rich man’s name, not Lazarus’s. We know Lazarus’s name, not the rich man’s.
Jesus loves to humanize the overlooked. To dignify the disadvantaged. Do we?
Don't reduce MLK to an annual quote on social media.
Live out the dream
Seek first the Kingdom of God
Confront evil
Be a truth-teller
Seek justice
Advocate for the poor
Pursue reconciliation
Love your neighbors
Forgive your enemies
Live a committed life of peace, love, justice.
