1) Submit complaints about articles that use transphobic language, or that repeat misinformation without correcting it.
2) Write in letter to the editors. It helps to show that there is dissenting views.

Modern #pride comes from 1960s & 70s protest movements against police brutality.

While it’s is a special time for LGBTIQ+ joy, pleasure, celebration & liberation, we must hold close our history. #Pride is a call to stand with those still targeted & brutalised by police & state.

This election has been a shit show for the trans and gender diverse community.I’m grateful for all the trans advocates that responded time and again, parents that cared for their trans kids and for the trans folk that show up every day.
