When our Gate Agent noticed a Customer carrying a folded flag during boarding, he learned that she was on her way home from the funeral service for her brother, a fallen Air Force pilot. After learning of her story our flight crew flew the flag in a place of honor in the cockpit.

This culture’s training us to be fragile. To be sure, there are things worthy of offense, worthy of calling out, but we’re being shaped societally to be wounded, hurt and offended constantly. This is antithetical to the commission of Christ. We’re called to be strong in the Lord.
