@darrenpjones@AndyBurnhamGM@andy4makerfield Burnham fought on removing the current leader of his own party!it doesn't prove you can beat Reform, it proves voters backed him to rid you of the leader.
Claiming it proves you can beat Reform nationally is spin & very flawed thinking, you're not daft neither are the public!
@lukejcr@AndyBurnhamGM@andy4makerfield It was fought on removing your current leader, it doesn't prove he’s the only one who can beat Reform, it proves voters backed him to challenge the leader.
Claiming it proves he alone can beat Reform nationally is flawed narrative to be expected from you.
@AnnabelDenham1 Hard agree. Both want the easy route, waiting for a 'bloodless exit' as they would need to declare their numbers. It’s a circus. The chaos is already here, but neither has the guts to play their hand. If I were Starmer i'd make them sweat and dig in.
@jessicaelgot Talk about delusion. This wasn't a progressive wave, it was a crassly engineered backroom deal. The party forced an MP to step down to parachute a celebrity Mayor into a safe seat. Stop dressing up a top-down party fix as a national movement. Quite arrogant.
@KarlTurnerMP Calling Makerfield the most important by-election probably ever shows just how delusional you all are. This whole circus wasn't forced on voters to change the country it was crassly engineered as a selfish stepping stone for a leadership coup..delusional doesn't quite cut it!
@jessicaelgot Well hopefully engineered elections don't come along again!
If Burnham wins by a thin margin or loses, his leverage to challenge Starmer evaporates. Flooding a community with an aggressive ground op just to use them as a leadership stepping stone has flaws...+ whose paying?
Being a minister comes with responsibility. You don't get to post vitriol like an unaccountable individual. Our country has a discourse issue; leaders should be role models, not feeding it. One look at this feed shows the exact problem. Enough. @HoCStandards@CommonsLeader
As this rebuttal seems to suggest Natural England’s response is evasive to the point of misleading. Stuff like this is so corrosive for public trust in institutions and I struggle to see how what they’ve put out is consistent with Nolan principles.
@darrenpjones Missing the responsibility of great things there, Minister? Competitive markets only can lower prices if the govt provides the conditions to do so. You failed to acknowledge your part in ensuring you create that framework. Which as we know you have done the opposite.
@LukeTryl When broadcasters focus exclusively on two and uses a website link as a legal shield, it stretches the definition of fair due weight coverage to its breaking point. It proves OFCOM rules don’t reflect the reality of contests or what actually helps voters. My view.
@CMochan The tories brought in the online safety act....all you have done is make an announcement..and a blank page on details... i think its time you stopped factually inaccurate campaign mode mindset!
@SciTechgovuk@10DowningStreet@Keir_Starmer Can we remind you that this is a civil service account, political rhetoric isn't part of your code of conduct...but factual, evidence led sources are!
